“If ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ projects India as Third World dirty underbelly developing nation and causes pain and disgust among nationalists and patriots, let it be known that a murky underbelly exists and thrives even in the most developed nations,” Amitabh slammed Danny Boyle on Slumdog Millionaire.People criticized Amitabh on his comment by saying that we should not ignore this part of our country.But,Is there any thing which slumdog changed……No,nothing …..just one thing that now the image of India getting more worst. What the so called first and second world think about India? Is India the place where you can find Naga Sadhu,Old fort,temple and the crowded market …….really?? Not at all, We are the biggest software exporter,we are nuclear power,we are the biggest market of US ,we are largest democracy,we have second largest army,we have second most growth rate in the time of recession …then why media want to present Bharat as a poor,manner less,dirty country…….. Every family want to hide their family problems to others, they never share it.It doesnt mean that they dont want to solve it .But, when it comes to country ppl changed there view …they want to show it to the world .
Now Sun creates a new drama …..they did a string operation on Rubina’s dad .All media aired it on the high priority …… selling the children is not new in India and in so called developed country too.But,ppl are more interested to show it ….now google have 46,000 result for slumdog rubina sell ……..Is this the Bharat which we want to project ??
The Empty Mind 
Truth is always bitter, once a truth is uncovered, which can spoil the image, no matter what you try, won’t be able to stop people knowing about it. Instead of cursing the person who uncovered the truth, one must try to help solving root cause of the key problem.
And make sure you have asked your self following questions before BLAMMING Danny Boyle.
1. What you did when you saw last time poor kids bagging on the road near traffic signals or under the flyovers? Remember giving money to baggers is not an option, because that encourages them to continue bagging rest of their lives…
2. What are you doing to control population in India? Having two kids of your own is not going to bring down the population… think one of your own and adopt another, may be something you can be proud of…
3. Did you ever think of sponsoring a poor or orphan child?
If you never asked your self these questions then whether you are AMITABH BACCHAN or normal citizen of India, all you are doing is passing the blame, doing nothing apart from ignoring what is happening around you.
I am really THANKFUL to Danny Boyle, because when I was in Mumbai, I used to see these small kids bagging near traffic signals from people in stopping auto rickshaws and cars. I used think what their fault is, if god decided them to be born in poor family in middle of slum which is no less than a wild jungle. I think Slumdog Millionaire will help changing mind set of people in India and abroad and I hope people will start helping slum kids in India either by donating to charities or by adopting or helping children etc. At least Indians who were donating to charities to help poor kids in Africa will now think of slum kids in India first….
